Maria calls both Colombia and Boston, MA home. Her diverse background gives her a unique view of the world, not only from a cultural outlook, but also through education and experience. Maria has the ability to be adaptive, which enables her to connect and establish lasting relationships with all types of clients, partners and peers.
Her wide range of interests has led her to a variety of professional experiences in Advertising (BBDO), Consumer Goods (Colgate), Food Events (New York City Wine & Food Festival) and Technology (EMC). The exposure to different industries and lines of business allowed her to gain insight into different B2B and B2C branding strategies. She has experience conducting industry research with the goal of creating client briefs and furthering consumer analysis.
Her passion is to explore and be a lifelong learner. She enjoys spending time learning about art, food, culture, and also technology and design. She has a strong interest in deepening her understanding of the intersection between psychology and marketing to create more meaningful brands for consumers.
Food and wellness is Maria's long held passion. She enjoys cooking and creating new content for her health Instagram account. When she has some time on her hands, she loves to paint or design digital art.
Maria is a graduate of Northeastern University with a dual degree in Marketing and Interactive Media. She speaks fluent English and Spanish, and intermediate Portuguese.
